Field Sales AreManager (home based possible in the Gloucester/BA/BS postcodes) + regular travel to client’s site as required. Uncapped commission (up to £60,000 base) plus car/phone.

The Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, highly professional, personable and determined Business Development Manager with Account Management skills to work on uncapped commission, building and maintaining manufacturing clients.

They consistently provide paint-based industrial solutions which help manufacturing businesses succeed. This means providing market leading service tailored to the needs of their individual customers, which is reflected in all areas of their business from guidance and advice, to purchase and after sales support.

They have a fantastic base of clients and are looking to continue their successes and expand their excellent client base. This company has shown substantial growth in previous three years and is projecting further, substantial growth in next 3+ years.

About You:

+ Knowledge of industrial supplies: Industrial Coatings, Abrasives, Compressors or similar
+ Possess exceptional customer relationship skills on the phone and in person
+ Experience of liaising with manufacturing customers
+ Personable, a good judge of people and able to deal with individuals at all levels
+ Demonstrate good questioning technique and listening skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
+ Proposal writing and presentation skills
+ Ability to win sales on more than price
+ Prior consultative sales experience would be highly beneficial
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus, productivity and meeting deadlines
+ Flexible and quickly adapt to new situations
+ Able to work effectively under pressure
+ Determined to succeed with high levels of energy
+ A commitment to personal development and keeping a current knowledge of their industry and best practices
+ Professional, presentable and personable with a mature attitude
+ A current driving licence is essential

Salary is based on experience but is extremely competitive -  your 'patch' is Gloucestershire/BA/BS so you'll ideally live in or around this location. Great company/products and role - not to mention the OTE! For more info please apply today.
