Their sales team has continued to expand with the success of the business, and is now seeking an individual with drive, enthusiasm and passion to be a key contributor to the successful delivery of their targets.
Who are you?
This role is a newly created, customer-facing position that will focus on sales of the company’s sponsorship and advertising services to a wide range of global professional service providers; Consultants, Legal firms, Software Providers, Laboratories.
The company’s sponsorship and advertising portfolio offers a variety of solutions, both on and off their highly-regarded platform, which allow organisations to showcase their expertise to a global audience of regulatory professionals. This sustained exposure, right in front of their tightly profiled membership, helps organisations to build positive brand awareness within the professional industry, who view the company as a trusted source of timely, impartial information.
What would be your key responsibilities?:

Selling a portfolio of sponsorship & exhibition packages, online advertising campaign work, eLearning and training packages.

Leading with a consultative-style sales approach, to surface the relevant business needs of clients, and selling solutions which encompass the whole sponsor and advertising portfolio.

Managing the complete sales, negotiation, and client closing process.

Developing a deep knowledge of client’s needs for exposure, along with Industry/Sector/Regulatory- specific issues to align and articulate the value proposition with customer needs.

Occasional travel may be required (UK and international) to attend events.
What to bring to the table?
You do not need experience within their sector, as full training will be given, but you will have an inquisitive mind coupled with the following background.

Minimum three (3) year’s experience in B2B sales, including demonstrable experience of identifying advertising and sponsorship opportunities and successfully closing deals which include packages of professional services.

Commercially focused, results driven, with experience of selling and articulating strong propositions over the phone. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close agreements.

Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding on personal sales performance against targets;

Excellent relationship-management and development skills; with proven ability of working with senior and mid-level decision making units;

High levels of professionalism and personal drive, and the ability to work independently (remotely) and to deadlines; managing multiple tasks and driving towards sales targets

Team player, willing to contribute and engage in a developing work environment
