An opportunity has arisen within my clients' busy sales office for a full time Sales Administrator, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of customers. This is a thriving, busy and friendly company.
The successful candidate will interface with the internal Planning, Production, Purchasing, Design, Technical, Despatch and Finance teams, to ensure that both customer and company requirements are met.
The client is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking team player with excellent communication skills and a strong orientation towards customer service. They ideally are looking for someone with previous sales admin experience within manufacturing but will look outside this provided you have strong account management skills and have dealt with business customers.
The ability to manage a demanding workload and coordinate many activities simultaneously is essential. The successful candidate must be capable of working under pressure in a fast paced environment, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail is key!
General computer proficiency and sound administrative skills are essential.
The client offers smart modern offices, good rates of pay and membership of a really excellent group pension plan and benefits including 33 days holiday (inclusive of banks holiday). They do offer some flexibility as to working hours (normal hours are 9-5 Mon-Thursday and 9-4.30 Friday) but you can either move these hours slightly earlier or later or shorten the day by 30 minutes by taking only 30 minutes for lunch.
