This is a great accounts clerk role, in a creative company, for someone with some comparable experience ideally, looking to work 30 hours a week. Initially it is a 6 month contract but could quite possibly be a longer term role. Immediate start available!

This is a varied role and responsibilities include:

  • Daily collection and distribution of post throughout company head office
  • Daily back up of Sage accounts system
  • To maintain purchase ledger, supplier reconciliations & resolve queries
  • Prepare detailed departmental analysis of invoices
  • Prepare supplier BACs payment run and prepare cheques
  • To maintain sales ledger, customer reconciliations & resolve queries
  • Process and reconcile petty cash
  • Process and reconcile credit cards and import to sage
  • Assist in preparation of month end accruals and pre-payments

About you:

  • Experience of Microsoft Excel
  • Good working knowledge of Sage
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent keyboard skills
  • High standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Methodical and accurate with a proven ability to focus on detail
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate a disciplined and organised method of working
