This is a great opportunity for someone with media sales management experience to join a well-respected, ambitious publishing company who specialise in digital and print B2B content solutions for highly targeted industries. They are a team of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals who consistently deliver innovative solutions of the highest quality. They are recruiting for a sales manager with a creative, entrepreneurial and problem-solving mind-set, to lead a small sales team and drive the business by generating revenues from both new and existing business.

The role:

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will:

  • Lead the sales team to ensure that all targets are achieved
  • Be a key member of the senior management team
  • Lead on all new and existing commercial opportunities and be the communicator and driver between departments to get the job done
  • Create new business opportunities, achieve a personal sales target from that business, and always lead by example
  • Build, develop and maintain key commercial partners as well strategic partner associations
  • Attend industry events and client meetings across the country as and when necessary
  • Recruit new members of the sales team when required

You will have:

  • Two years (minimum) of media sales management experience
  • Five years (minimum) of media sales experience
  • A remorseless entrepreneurial spirit and a positive, never-say-die attitude to achieving targets
  • An engaging, likeable personality
  • Meticulous organisational ability
  • Experience and competence in standard office computer software
