This really lovely international company is based in Bath and the role would be ideal for someone looking for something part time - perhaps you're not ready to retire or just looking for something extra or flexible hours is what you need right now (not flexible hours each week mind you - just that you can choose what your working pattern is!).

It doesn't matter to them if you work the hours over 3 full days or shorter days - only that you're available for 22.5 hours per week.
This role as an Archive Assistant will work as part of the Business Services team, working closely with their Librarian and Administrators. You will work with a friendly team and will have ownership for reducing on site pre-archiving and managing the archiving process.
What will I be doing? They have a large pre-archive which needs to be prepared for archiving. You will manage this process from start to finish, and ensure that archiving is accurately recorded and sent off site.
Daily duties will include: • Liaising with Administrators, Project Directors and Librarian to identify projects for archiving. • Reviewing documents to identify which need archiving, scanning or shredding. • Scanning, uploading and storing project files and associated documents. • Creating archive records, recording box contents and obtaining appropriate sign-off • Arranging addition of archiving to offsite storage
Other duties will include: • Alongside the Company Archive Assistant, ensure archived projects are stored in such a way to be easily retrieved. • Forming and maintaining the electronic structure of projects by ensuring closed and completed projects are moved to the archive server safe area • Alongside the Company Archive Assistant, organise the secure disposal of material when it reaches the end of its legal storage time. • Alongside the Company Archive Assistant record and manage archive loans and returns • Alongside Bath Filing Clerk perform an annual audit of all project filing held in each Bath team recording it on a Project Filing Location spreadsheet. • As part of the new starter induction process you will be required to give training on the archive process
